[align=justify]I wrote this poem approximately7 years ago and I want to share it with my reading audience. It's entitled: "Smooth Transition to Paradise." I helps me prepare myself for meditation. I believe that prayer is sending out energy and meditation is calming the soul and cleansing the spirit. Note the following:[/align]
[align=justify]Storms exist in the brain
Aggravated by pain
Personality conflicts
Food makes me sick[/align]
[align=justify]Negative self concepts
Wisdom has left
Careless human mind
Sloppy some of the time[/align]
[align=justify]Thinking too deep
Deprived of sleep
Urges every ten minutes
Distractions unlimited[/align]
[align=justify]Block out the hate
Sit down and concentrate
Turn off everything
Recognize no pain[/align]
[align=justify]Drift with a motion
Warm breeze, big ocean
Solitude by isolation
Life minus frustration[/align]
[align=justify]Calm, peace, innermost caress
Rid yourself of pest
Static will dissipate
Now you can concentrate[/align]
[align=justify]Irritation is erased
Left with no trace
Healing in the mind
Emotions can unwind[/align]
[align=justify]Distortions are clear
Relaxation will appear
No rules are enforced
Creating a new course[/align]
[align=justify]Burning is soothe
Coolness is improved
Impulses under control
Thoughts on hold[/align]
[align=justify]Enter into you
Purification comes through
Wisdom comes in
Imagine you without sin[/align]
[align=justify]Perfection achieved
Momentarily it leaves
Building a new you
Honest and definitely true[/align]
[align=justify]Quiet, hidden, young
Disrespected by some
Silence equals peace
Softness feels sweet[/align]
