@ Facetygal
Thank you so much for your kind words and it does indeed give me joy to think that my words can be uplifting, for that is what I wish. I wanted to remind our fine black sisters that dispite all the negative stuff they hear about themselves that the majorityof black men(no matter what the statistics try to tell you) love and appreciate them. In fact we men need reminding sometimes just what a treasure we have in our women, otherwise we are in danger of buying into the propaganda which tries to convince us that our women are not worthy or that we are not worthy of them.
Black men and women can have awesome relationships with each other (indeed we do more than people realise). If I can, in even a small way, use the gifts that God has given me to spread that word, then my purpose on this earth would have been well worth it. Our future (black people) ultimately lies inhow well we relate to each other and the strength of the unions we make with each other. I refuse to accept that black men and women are incapable of having strong, committed andsustainable relationships.
Peace
There is more value in being WRONG and to be aware of it, than in being RIGHT and to be totally oblivious of it!
