..........But anyway, I appreciate that this is not a discussion that many people want to take part in, but really, that is something that I have noticed about this forum, as an older member, please can you tell me why whenever someone sayssomething negative everyone wants to jump up and act like everything is all peachy, what is the purpose of the forum, if not to bring to the fore important issues that are affecting the black race today?I appreciate that not everyone will agree, but why do so many people feel the need to be in denial. Not just on this issue but so many others? How will we ever go foreward, if people are not prepared to see the faults that exist within us?

Camille: Nope nothing could be further from the truth, if someone raises an intelligent (this being the operative word here,) and well made point on this subject it will discussed..unfortunately what we've hod too much of in recent years.is the lazy arguements that pitiches black vs Black Black Vs white and black vs the universe.. Having the same points made in the same way time and time again is grating to say the least..especially when it is clear that the poster has put absolutely no effort what so ever into their arguments..
Therefore I see no point in promoting or encouraging people to rinse out the same old stereotypical chestnuts, life has moved on, we have moved and its about this is reflected in how we discussed this topic..
This forum must also be about raising standards and the ability to demostrate that some issues can discussed on a higher level.....if we don't teach how will people learn?
