On thispoint.. there is no doubt in my mind that this forumneeds direction and dare i say it guidance if it is to survive and to develop into what it should be.. My experience on blacknet mark 1 & 1a, EPN, Black Voices etc etc tells me exactly where an unchecked and unmoderated board will end up... I know that for a fact!!!

Secondly I'm both qualified in profession and in experience to not only make an assessment but also to form a judgment..so in answer to your second point one CAN make a judgment on intelligent discourse, especially one this is ill prepared, ill thought out and ill concieved..

Third point the reasonI suspect you are here and continue to be here is exactly because the other moderators and I have in effect created a climate in which you felt comfortable.This isn't just about moderating behavior, it is also about ensuring the discussioncontinue to be fresh, challenging and though provoking.. If you PM Ijexa, Happiness or Fred (they all have experience of past Blacknet forums,) they will tell you that was the one thing this forum was not this time last year..this climate didn't come about by good intentions, but byaction..direct action!!!

Last point: no I cannot alwaysget it right and I'm not always rite because i'm human, that is why we have the safeguard of four MODs,not one as it used to be because i recognised this weakness in the set up,plus the admin team..who all converse with each other if one of us gets it wrong..which we do, do from time to time.. So my point here is, i'm afraid this is how its going to be for the moment, yes i may get it wrong and I'm always open to be criticism if that is the case.. but my knowledge and experience says that some editorial direction is very much needed for now..sorry!!
