I dont think it would be a good thing if all prostitutes were got rid off because I do believe they provide a much needed service to the community.

Men have and always will use prostitutes for fun...variety...sexual experience and often for necessity.

I;m sure that many stable but sexually empty marraiges would not have lasted if it were not for the man paying for extra marital sex. Many women would prefer their men to go to a prostitute than fall in love with another woman. I have known women who secretly know their men pay for sex, but they turn a blind eye to it. If that men was to fall in love with someone, that would be a different story altogether.

Many men have taken their adolescent sons to visit an "experienced woman" and so ended their son;s virginity. Difference is they have sought out a kind, patient and compassionate hooker instead of a cheap street walker.

There are many kinds of prostitutes so we cant lump them all together as being generally bad. There are women who dont class themselves as prostitutes at all, but they have sex with men who are suffering confidence or impotent problems. They are like a kind of surrogate girlfriend. The women who do this job are proud and consider they are providing a great service to the less fortunate men.

I also think that bad things can happen to a man who has a strong sexual desire that is not fulfilled. I;m sure there would be even more serious attacks on ordinary women and children if it were not for prostitutes. I think its fine for a man to pay a woman to dress up as a schoolgirl and have sex with him. Maybe if that fantasy were not fulfilled he may try for the real thing.

In the course of my life and work I have met a few prostitutes. Most were not sexy, glamourous or sordid creatures. They were plain and looked more like someone;s comfy Auntie or a librarian. These women were very low key, kind and understanding. Some catered for the geriatrics of society...old men who maybe had lost a much loved life partner. Some of their clients were disabled or house-bound. I dont see why these people should be denied sex if someone out there is prepared to service them.

So its a very broad subject but like any other obviously there are good and bad aspects to it. niceone.gif
