I also think that bad things can happen to a man who has a strong sexual desire that is not fulfilled. I;m sure there would be even more serious attacks on ordinary women and children if it were not for prostitutes.

I thought the extract was self explanatary - couldn't you see it? No? OK, I was thinking how can any one think that if it was not for prostitutes men would somehow be succombed to attacking women and children - isn't that a bitlike saying men are only about sex and they cannot controlthemselves?
Blackbeauty - i recently studied the subject about women and prostitution in Victorian Britain - its very deep, but trust me it was all about how men saw women in different catorgories i.e wife = middle-class/housewife/childbearer - (they did not understand that either!) and working class women = whores. In a nutshell, methinkswhat Locsgirl said would had made them proud!!!

Yeah I know,the subject is very very deep, but isn't it extremely fascinating too! If you understand the history ofit here in Britain, bizzarely I thinkpeople wouldunderstand the connection ofmen's type offetishes/sexuality oftoday!
