The girl who had 350 sexual partners was a Sex Addict. She was also an ex heroin addict and alcoholic. She managed to clean up but in the process got her "fix" from quick sexual encounters with men. This was very sad because in this small town she was well known. People knew she was ill but took advantage anyway. Once she had made a conquest with someone she was no longer interested in them.

An addict is an addict full stop...forever. They will swap one addiction for another whether it be for chocolate or exercise. Apparently Sex Addiction is on the rise. Colleagues of mine say they are treating more and more people with this condition.

People think it must be great to never tire of having sex but it really is a joy-less plight for them, as being addicted to Anything always is.
