bismallah ramanhir raheem
miss brighter days
i am not using what is written to justify points, i am stating what is written. it is right that only allah passes judgement.
islam is applicable to modern times asit is ahead of its time and is a message to all of mankind from the time of its revelation to the end of time.
the quran cleary states that the laws must be followed and many muslims follow them to the letter, i agree many do not. the difference with islam is that is does not condone any unlawful behaviour or change its rules to suit the whims of mankind. it would be foolish to make people think that you can worship your god and build a good relationship with him while specifically doing what he tells you is one of the worst crimes you can commit such as homosexuality. following islam does not make one a muslim, submitting to the will of allah makes one a muslim as this is the meaning of the word, therefore if you do not submit to his will and continuously break his most terrible and punishable laws then you are not submitting to his will and cannot be a muslim in this context.
homosexuality is considerd an abominantion and unnatural as is the associated anal intercourse, and is not allowed. the quran clearly states that one cannot be a muslim and partake in such practices and wil not be allowed to enter heaven. therefore the judgement is clear to these sinners, there is no excuse. because modern democracy allows it it does not make it acceptable in islam as islam does not agree with the laws of democracy as they represent the laws of man and man is corrupt in his instinct. this is why islam dictates its own political system which is just, fair, pure and perfect for mankind regardless of what year it is. it does not breed or allow for the problems of modern democracy that are bred by modern democracy such as drug addiction, adultry, pre-maritla sex, teenage pregnancies, homosexuality, marriage breakdown, high crime rates, corrupt politicians, unfair taxes, secularism, racism, etc.
