Afrique,

The problem doesn't lie with Christianity/Islam, it lies with people who are totally misnformed about both religions and using it for the wrong reasons. I almost came close to being a Muslim and I'm now a Christian. To me, being a Christian isn't about who I'am, but rather what I practice and how I can not only better my life , but the lives of other people. Everyday, I look at supposed Christians/ Muslims fighting each other because of territory and because of who they are. Ask yourself this question: Do you think that the Lord/Allah would approve of this constant bickering? Do you believe that he judge people based on who they are? I think not.

I think about one scripture I read and I love it and that is Numbers 12. It speaks about racial/religious prejudice and persecution about Moses and his wife. God put a leprosy spell on Moses's sister Miriam for condemning Zipporah because of her race and religion. In Timothy( one or two) God mentions that he showed no difference between a Christian/Jew and god blessed the author of Timothy--Timmy himselfHe was a Greek/Jewish. I know very little about Islam in terms of their Surah's . But there was a Surah that asomebody--a Muslim told me about when I was a teen and it was about Allah'sviews of prejudice. It said the same thing, he's not about hate( if I find I'll let you know about it.

There is nothing wrong with being a Muslim and there is nothing wrong with being a Christian, Jew etc. It's not the religion that is going to to get you to heaven( actually the third earth) or paradise with the Muslim, it's how obedient that you are with the two that will get you there. People like Osama bin Laden and these other guys who fight like those guys do are nothing but perverts to God/Allah. If they were the true brothers/sisters of both, they would say " Hey, we have different beliefs in how we view god, but we still love each other."

At my school, we have a big Muslim/Christian organizations here. I wondered how we would get along with each other because of who we are. Seemignly , so far, everything is ok, in matter of factly sometimes whatever event the Muslim organizations have we come to and vice versa because that is the way it should be. As long as those guys use religion for their own way of political gain and the impose bigotry on people. They are no way good Christian Muslim people.
