Actually REALGREENEYES yes I am a Christian, yes my partner is a muslim and no we don't just sit across from each other on a Friday night. But who the hell are you to judge me and my relationship "let him who is without sin cast the first stone". I don't know everything about Islam & I don't proclaim to, so could you educate me and quote the verse in the Quran that says it is fine for a man to beat his wife (for whatever reason), do you think that somebody who is beaten into religionwill honestly embrace that religion in their heart?. & do you honestly think that come judgement day a man will be judged on the fact that he is married to a non muslim women regardless of the fact that he has lived his life as a honest and justly?



Regarding Bin Laden, I actually only brought it up because you did "...it necessary that people remember why extremeists like bin laden and so forth use this kind of action..." (this wasn't what the forum was about) but there is the video of Bin Laden in Qandahar conversing with a cleric from Saudi Arabia in which he admits to being part ofthe dramas of Sept 11th. However, the authenticityand provenance of the tape have been challenged. So you may have a point; until he comes out of hiding andlets the whole worldknow, then there is no way we'll ever noeither way for sure.You might wanna try reading "A Fury for God" by Malise Ruthven. It doesn't condemn Bin Laden it was written by a Muslim and gives a balanced deductive reasoning into the rise of militant Islam and covers the whole Sept 11 drama.

I don't "know" Islamic history but I do know about some of the atrocities that have happened to/in Islamic countries. But two wrongs don't make a right & while it's fair enough all people regarding creedor colour should stand "up and tall" is it truly necessary to destroy innocent people in the process? In the same way Christians shouldn't pillage and plunder, neither should muslims or any other religion....people shouldn't start wars in the name of religion. And that was my point..........din't wanna offend any1!
