The moon orbits the earth, the earth orbits the sun, the solar system orbits around the galaxy, and the galaxy travels around the universeand these events can be timed down to the second, so something has to be controlling thisuniverse. And it's clear to me that there's a set of laws in place to keep things stable, some force or thing exists, holding things in check...but a god with it's own consciousness, I wouldn't think so.

If you think about God then what is God but your own thoughts? What separates one religion from another is only the peoples subconscious ideals and beliefsof that God. What God is and how he is, is nothing but what peoplethink he is,ought to be or wants Him to be. God certainly is a personal thing. Goddefinately is different for each person. Why else would people defend him or worship it, when in reality people are just defending and worshiping their ego's ideas and beliefs of god..In what other way could you have over 5,000 fractions of the Christian religion, so many different buddhist sects, various spiritual teachings and cults out there.?

I'm confident in saying that whatever is believed or percieved as being a god isn't. Looking at the planet and the rest of the workings of the universe, whatever is in control doesn't know the difference between good and evil, orpositive or negative. I also would say that for the greater good to manifest, that a great evil has to take place before hand, and change for the better never happens without bad or evil teaching you the lessons..Anessecary thing for people to evolve.

Besides, if I was all knowing and all powerful, the last thing I'd want to do look after the universe personally. I'd probably set up a system which would look after everything itself, something which works off the subconscious of humanity...giving people what they truely desire with the good and the bad included..

Finally if a god does exist, itseemthat it doesn't want to appear that way.
