Thats only if the gal don't maintain it properly, if she flings bare hair products in it and she don't wash it. Probably also depends on how the weave was put into the hair ie. glue. Some guys are honestly not clued up about it at all, but well done for the men who are.

I'm not hung up on nothing, and not aspiring to be a certain way at all. I am me, why would I want to be someone else who probably has more if not the same flaws as me, doesn't make sense. I know some girls do fall into that hype thats only cos they have no identity of their own, and they wanna follow fashion.

My own natural hair gets messy quick, I haven't got the time or the money to be getting it done every week or every two weeks. If I keep putting it in extensions then it creates tension on my weak points. The only option for me was to perm it, cut it and start again or put it in weave. I chose weave cos I vowed never to put chemicals back in my hair, and I have kept to it for over 2yrs.

If people wanna turn weave into a big ting thats cos they got nothing better to do with their lives, I don't see what all the fuss is about.
