Im a qualified hairdresser and I've worked for some of the most prestigous Black Hair salons in the UK.

I have done many weaves for clients but have not had myself one yet.

I have nice natural jet black wavy hair which alot of black WOMEN !!constanlty ask me "is it texturised???? are you sure!!" not wanting to accept my reply because they dont associate NATURAL wavy hair with dark skin people (totally pisses me off!!). I dont have this prob with most men who seem to be more enlighted andonly compliment me ( or call me coolly whatever that is!)

Weaves are great when USED ONLY for the correct purposes! However to many women are confused about the whole concept of weave!

RULES OF WEAVE
 1. IT IS NOT A HAT!!! - BRUSH IT! WASH IT! GREASE IT! LOVE IT!
 2. Don't leave it in for more than 2-3 months depending on how fast your hair grows!
 3. Please DO NOT do the full head of yellow blond hair ASOULTULY NO ONECAN GET AWAY WITH THIS! whatevershade of blacku think u are! it will look cheap& nastywithin days
 4. GetGOOD MATCH if blending in the front of your own hair!
 5. Cut the dam ting! andstyle in in a way that suits u!
 6. ACCEPT that is not yours ! and will never b! (we dont careif u paid for it)
Follow these fundamental rules and your weave will be a delightful experience!
