@facetygal

sisterlocks is basically just thin dredlocks - using a particular method which allows you to remove them (without cutting)when necessary however it takes a VERY VERYlong time!!

The size of the individual dredlocks allows them to be somewhat versitile for styling -curled ect.The first time you have them done hair extensionsare used in the locking process,other from that this is a 100% roots & culture way of maintaing your hair.

It can be done on natural & relaxed hair (if you want ot grow it out)

I like the way sisterlocks lookwhen they are maintained WELLhowever that fact that the hair is dredded i PERSONALLY couldnt cope with.

If your like me and you like to change your hairstlyeas often as you change your knickers then this hairstyle is not for you.

I think when black women work with the texture of their hair and use styling products to compliment then it shows a wider range of versitility& its just more fun!After all there is only so many waysyou canstyle locs

let me know if that answered ur ??'s
