Sorry Layabout: but I'm not buying the Apathy arguement because it don't hold water, If the Tories and New Labour aint working then why not Lib Dem or any other party? The simple fact is those people who voted for that racist party did so by choice and do so knowing their record. But in any case you have not presented an arguement that counters my claim that things are getting steadily worse.
On the issue of Asylum I actually agree with much of your analysis, you are stop on, in recognising that, unrestricted arms trade by Europe and America is certainly a major contributer to the growing displacement of Africa people. But thats not the only reason unfortunately this country and Europe are now paying the price for its centuries of capitalist misadventure in Africa having created and maintained the monster in Africa ie culture of curruption, lack of joined up, thinking in the infrusture across the continent and basically depopulating in various ways. Is it really a surprise that folks there say you know what I'm coming to where the goings good.
You claim that this country wants a break from mass immigration, well you know that would be really funny if it wasn't from the fact that the problem Europeans try to deplace onto Asylum and Asylum seekers were actually directed at the right people. I've had this debate before with another of your cohorts. The fact is there is problems in this country not because of immigration but because of the shortsightedness of the population that kept voting for short term tax gains over long term investment in the things that matter. so please call it as it is, its really about time talking about responsibility that the white people of the country took some and owned THE problem they created.
On the issue of BNP members being nice, i've got a news flash for you my enemy isn't the BNP leadership if fact they are my friend. At least they are honest and truthful about where they stand and what they would do.. No problem with that because I'm equally clear about what I would do in response. Further if you'd read me consistently i'm not one to talk about racists as being skinheads shouting obcenities at me, to me racists are those very same 'nice' people who smile and who don't like the BNP leadership butstill remain a member. My enemy just so you're absolutely clear is people racist appeasers, racistdeniersand liberals who know jack about themselves muchless my people. in short you!!!
I could give aflying rats arse whether all those nice people dislike the BNP that mean nothing to me, you're still in bed with them so like the Nuremburg principle 'I was just following orders'line aint gonna wash today.
What is also not going to wash is the mantra of daming me bylabelling me a trotkist. Like I said your anaylisis in this aspect of racism and its triggers and reinforcers is what I'd expect from you, but it remains confused. It is not about ignorance although I would conceded ignorance is a component, the essential issue of racism is about 'privilage' and is about 'power' whether that is with a small p or a capitalP!
Lastly let me personally deal with this ASSumption you have that we are not taking responsibilty. speaking for myself, I am not looking for your acceptance, don't want it don't need it. The fact is I'm quite clear if there is a level playing field I'm more than able to complete and beat you and your kind hands down in my chosen field the problem arsises that the great many of the European I've met don't seem to have that confidence and so they try their very best to create unfair and unreasonable conditions to maintain their own status quo.
You talk about Black racism, I actually think you mean Racial prejudice (which btw is different), I accept that it exist what I don't accept is thatwe are not either aware of it, or that we do not take responsibility. That is total toss concentrating on the UK for moment the Carribean immigrant in this country have a history of taking responsibility over and above any other newcomer to this country, i only have to point to Mrs Lawrence and the influence she has had your thinking to make this point vividly, so please try that mantra with someone gullible enough to buy into such crap.
On the issue of Capitalism...oh my god what planet have you been on, because it certainly isn't earth. First let me point out the obviouse there isn't and never has been an example of a revolutionarysystem completely at odds with the system of capitalism that has developed to such adegree as to give any evidence of success or otherwise. the fact is when other systems have emerged Capitalism has a historic record of protecting itself by destroying these systems at birth.
I am however dying to hear how a system designed to maintain the means of production and the concentration of wealth within a select minority, can be about equality or for that matter promote meritocracy in meaningful terms. Sorry but you really need to take you head out of your arse on this one. The nature of Capitalism like it or not is about imbalance, otherwise how could you protect profit margins, how could you keep development and manufacturing costs down. If it was about'equality' for instance why would major companies tranfer the bulkof their businesses to places like SouthEast Asia, Africa etc..
If I bought into your confused ASSessmentmy expectation would be that those same companies would pay European wages in those economies, they don't do they? Why is that I wonder? Heeelllloooooo! You say deal with Capitalism but in truth it is you and people like you who need to deal with CAPITALISM. If you create and maintain 'cheap labour' in so called 'third world' economies the effects is those people will come here to get 'first' world economy lifestyle so you DEAL WITH IT!!
Ps; I'm NOT or ever will be you friend, so please don't refer to me as such thanks...I promise not to patronise you, if you promise to keep your patronising ways to those who appreciate it becauseI don't ok!!!
