Hurricane, how can you say the dark vs light issue doesn't exist in Nigeria, if you're truly a Nigerian? Don't you see your aunties with their burnt bleached faces walking down Peckham on a daily basis? Nigerians bleach more than Caribbeans. Go to any Afro shop and see them crowding at the skin bleaching section. Some women even as old as my grandma. I know what I'm talking about, cos I'm half-Nigerian.

Well I don't live in peckham unfortunately and i don't hang around there. I know some nigerians bleach there faces, but only someone that is daft would find it hard to know the difference between a brown skin fellow and someone that is bleaching.

Nigerians bleach more than Caribbeans . I don't know where you got your stats from, you mean youspeaking for the wholeNigerians base on the number of people you have seen in peckham, and the Caribbeans based of the numbers of caribbeans living in the UK, yes you make little sense. You dont have to make things more complicated than they are, please dont overstretch the capacity of your 10 brain cells. Just look around in your community and look at the proportion of Nigerian that bleach compared to Carribeans.

So because your grandma bleached her skin, that means that every Nigerian does it. That is a silly thing to assume, better if you go to Nigeria and then tell me some facts, you are saying all these rubbish because people who are related to you are bleaching. Lol, my grandma is already very light, so no need for her to bleach.I think before you bother about my grandma you better tell your auntiesto take it easy with their homemade bleaching potions.I have been to Nigeria several times. Just look at the Nigerian videos and tell me how many of them stars haven't bleached. So don't be silly and pretend the problem doesn't exist.
