Spoke to a Jamaican brutha of mine who informed me that a “Dancehall Queen was not a diss or an insult. And that in fact that picture of that Japanese woman won something like $50,000 dollars for beating other top dancers. I'm told (some) Jamacians are really into this. That's a lot of money for just dancing.
But let me bring up to important points.
1) I'm not Jamacian
2) My wife isn't a Dance Hall Queen.
Though I knownow you meant no disrespect.
What you did was akin to a white person saying "Oh hey....I know a black guy...that Denzel guy who won an Oscar".....or..."Hey you remind me of Micheal Jordan"..........pfft............all black men ain't actors, or ball players....and all Japanese women (especially the one I married) aren't Dance Hall Queens.....
Since coming to this site of fine honorable, respectful, educated, concious, intelligent black men and women (notice the sarcasm..) I've had references to my dead mother and who is going to "*uck her"....."my father" son being "it" and my wife being "me love you long time" and other common peasantries. Itmakes me defensive.
I expect it, that is how n.i.g.g.e.r.s. act and talk to each other. And to those n.i.g.g.e.r.s. I gladly fire back....here is the only place they could speak to me with such disrespect........
.......but to a respectful sister, like yourself, who meant not harm......I gain nothing from my respsonse.
So I apologize for taking in the wrong way. In the future so I don’t get the wrong idea, or meaning....
......please refrain from mentioning my wife in any of your posts……
....Now this Village tit-for-tat shit i tried to squash it,it was too late to stop it
There's a certain line you just don't cross and you crossed it
I read reference to my wife on a post I just lost it....
"....But now it's elevated cuz once you put someone's wife and kids in it
The shit gets escalated, it ain't just words no more is it.....?
