It is a myth, but it is made powerful by the persistence of the black community to site it as “What we are going through now�
It wasn’t written with historical context but after the fact. Sort of like watching a movie that predicts the end of the earth……….writing a book about it after the fact, and then sighting the book as “Look see this happening now�
