My sis married a 24 year old in Dec and turned 32 in Jan. To me, that kind of age gap is uacceptable, but it arose from a misunderstanding when they first met. He thought she was younger than what she was (good genes run in my family!!) and he lied and said he was older than he was. So they thought they were around the same age. By the time the truth was out, they were already in a relationship, then she got pregnant. Age became irrelevant, tho most of the problems they have come from, in my opinion, his lack of maturity and my sisters controlling nature. My dad was ten years older than my mother, which i always thought was too old. I am the youngest of 3 and my dad was 40 when i was born. My other sister was in a relationship with someone 8 years older than her. They met when she was 18 and were together for 13 years. So i have quite a range in my family. Me personally would not go out with someone more than 2 years younger or five years older. So since i am 26 going on 27 i guess that means anywhere from 24 to 32, though i feel like 32 is still a lil old for juvenile ol' me!!
