In my view, if you think some people on this forum are stupid, then i'm sorry to tell you this but they are a reflection of the same people I see everyday on the streets. In fact, alot of the people on this forum seem more enlighted then the people I come in contact with here in NY at work, school, parties, meetings, puplic places Ect. The reason I say people up here seem to be more enlighted is because adleast theseso-called stupid people areup here trying to discuss the issues and learn rather then the average young black and latino I know who would prefer not to even talk or think about the problems in our communities. Besides, there is really no such thing as a stupid thread, just threads that I seem as irrelevent to me at this time or that I can't relate to based on my own experiences.

Example: "Feminism destroyed the black communities"

A topic that I couldn't relate to nor did I see the connection between the two but I wouldn't call Rueben Stupid, I just don't agree with his views but I'm glad he brought it up so that I can see other people's views on the subject.

Example: If you could be a famous celebrity for a day who would you want to be?"

Most people picked Beyonce, Alisha keys or Ashanti but this is another topic that I could not relate to nor saw its relevance because I would just want to be myself just rich. I wouldn't call the maker of this thread stupid because what they find important is different from mines. I would just call them different.

To believe is to have doubt and no facts but to know is to have facts and no doubt.
