But another thing that disturbs me is that most Africans I meet claim to be royalty for some reason.
Damn, EVERY...I'm not lying...EVERY single one I meetclaims either to be a prince or princess.
I check the timing and don't give the conversation 10 minutes before it comes out.
First they look around both ways and behind...then get up close to me and say:
"
You know...back in my country I am a prince/princess....no lie"
I guess they know better than to claim King or Queen.
I'm joking but I'm serious as ice-water....that's what they all say to me.
............Actually Nigerians are industrious Peeps I've always found BUT.....over the last 33 Years this is EXACTLY my experience.......I remember vividly starting work in 1971/72 and working with a couple of Nigerians in London who both told me that....as a 17-year-old Kid I remember being friendly,in particular, with one of them and calling him "Big Chiefy".....sounds silly now I know...since then over and over I've found this in various offices that I worked in apart from onecolleague who said his Dad was the Nigerian Ambassador!...by this time I went "Yeah! Yeah"....turned out to be true!
