For my family it was a little tricky
ALL of my mother's children had to agree, for some reason my father had no say so in the matter, though he didn't have an objection. My youngest brother at first say "NO", and the doctors could do nothing. We have to convince him that it was the right thing to do.
My mother even left a will AND instructs for the doctor not to keep her alive. She had a DNR order. "Do not resuscitate", when it was CLEAR that my mother did not want to be kept alive by machines, if one of my mother's children say NO, regardless of her wishes.......it was still no.
Parris that must have been a tough choice....but i believe in people passing with some dignity.....all i can say is, i hope my children will do thesame for me when its my time to go......i believe there is a time for everything......youalldid the best thathumanly you possiblycould.....may she rest in peace!
