As much a cut & dry brutha as I am, even I'M somewhat stumped by this case......

First of all, her husband is shady as hell because his wife isn't even dead yet and he's already got a girlfriend and has2 children by her since his wife's demise.

Not only that, but he's been trying to pull the plug on her for over 10 years with no success thanx to the efforts of her parents.

I don't know how true it is but I've even heard rumors that he used to ask nurses and doctors anxiously why it's taking her so long to die.

Apparenlty he's gonna get a large sum of money as a survivor benefit after his spouse dies and he just can't wait.

But then.....

I don't think I'd want to live in a conditon like she's in.

Not only is sheincapacitated, but CONCIOUS of her helplessness and suffering without the ability to let people know what she's really going through.

I understand her parent's effort to keep thier daughter alive as long as possible but I think they're doing it more for THEIR own best interests than for hers.

To hell with how she feels....they just don't want togo through the pain of losing thier child.

But still again....

She's been living like that for nearly 15 years.

I can see them hurrying to make a decision on letting her die in peace if it happened a week or month ago.

But if she's been living like that for 15 years she's probably adapted to how she's living and probably has now began to accept it.

Threatening to let her die will just put her through another nightmare.

One thing for sure...

I think it's cruel the way they keep snatching her feeding tube out and putting it back in.

They should decided what they're definately going to do before they start pulling out her life-line because ain't no telling what type of damage they're causing her each time they pull it out for days at a time.

I also think the Republicans are hypocrites and are just using this as a publicity stunt and political farce to promote their "pro-life" agenda.

How hypocritical can a group of peope be who support war to kill hundreds of thousands of innocent relatively healthy and innocent civilians...yet conviene in the middle of the night and fight tooth and nail just to keep a terminally ill woman alive for a few more years.

Jesus said these hypocrites gag at flies while swallowing mules.
