Indifference is EVERYWHERE in England. Moreso in the cities than the countryside, but it's infected everyone it seems

I don't know about making you evil, but I'd be prepared to put my life on the line for any of my family or close friends - don't know about so-called friends....but I'd do just about anything for the others.

However, indifference to strangers is a relatively new thing. No one wants to help anyone anymore, even if they're lying in the street, dying. The most the majority of people manage is staring with their mouth open. They don't move, they're just stood there as mannequins.

Evil, yes. Pathetic, no.

If there were shots being fired, would I wade in there and help people? Would I ****! I'd be outta there faster than a whippet with a bum full of dynamite. My self-preservation skills would be well with it.

But in situations where the bystander would not be in any danger, then I don't think there's any real excuse for indifference and curling up in your own meaningless existence.
