[align=left]It seems to me that God gave out according to prophesy as a poster as already posted above, the gift of prophesy to his daughters. That his Spirit would be poured out upon his maidservants. Apostle Paul then spells out for us that the gift of prophesy is a high gift, this is also said by Moses in Old Testment. [/align]

[align=left]Then Paul tells us, that prophesying is for the edification of the church.[/align]

[align=left]For him to teach this, and then say Women keep silent either means the bible contradicts itself here or like LadyDay as said we must look deeper into what was going on at the church in Corinth.[/align]

[align=left]To me to read that passage and look no more into it than what you wish to take from it to subjugate someone else is not wise. [/align]

[align=left]And judging from the verses I have shown you, I personally would not take that passage of scripture and try to enforce a rule like that on God's daughters. Lest God raise them up to prophesy and silence me. God ain't easy and God is not the Koran... The Koran is a book, God is God. We must be careful how we use his word, and trying to apply understanding. [/align]


[align=left]In this case I am unsure what the scripture Ahmaad showed us here does mean, but I know it is not as clear cut as he would wish it. As Kanobi wrote once, you guys really need to stop reading in a vacuum passages of scripture, really you do.[/align]
