There actually is not such thing as a black panther. however there is no one distinct species of wild cat called a Black Panther. Its usually a Leapord or Jaquar whose coloring has blended giving one the impression that its all black. The Black Panther is part of the group but distintly original. Its not one of the largest cats, but powerful none-the less.
