oooooohhhh! Medusa, Your so right! people love feed this falacy of Afrcans selling ourselves, and this has been a tool used to take the focus of Europeans & ARABS, and also in order to create disunity between Afrkans in the Diaspora and those born at home.
the fact of the matter is that most of us who were enslaved were kidnapped, not sold. most of those that were sold were sold by European and Arab Tradesmen- who did big buisnes in Afrika. Thirdly those Afrikans who they say sold Afrikans were already Islamic, or Christian, and did so in the name of there religions under the guidance of those who taught them it- (Arabs & Europeans) So Traditional Afrikan Culture "never allowed you to be made a slave", infact those who remained living according Afrikan Tradition were those who fought oppression! The Slave was invented when the Afrikan stoped living like an Afrkan.
Besides, which religion was the enslaver? we were enslaved in the name of Islam & Christianity, not in the name of Afrikan Tradition!
