I was speaking with a female that is about to leave the school that I attend; she is going back to Arizona. She told me that she wanted a picture of me before she left or she wanted to take one of me. This is where the situation comes in. Every time I take a picture, it just does not look like me. I dont know what it is about them. I always look bigger and even ugly at times. Not trying to sound pompous, but People tell me that I am a handsome young man, and when I look in the mirror and then the camera, it is like I am looking at two different people. The same thing with a camcorder. For the proffesional photographers out there and for the people that knowa thing or two about cameras, is their a principal about a camera as far as adding any weight to somebody or making them look different. How come when one looks in the mirror they get a totally different look than opposed to them looking at a picture or seeing themselves through the eyes of a camcorder. I really do want to give my friend a photo of me, but I cannot think of a time when I have ever took a good picture because they just dont look like me. Does any one feel the same way and if any one knows why your wisdom would greatly be appreciated. Let me clarify look like me. I mean they dont look exactly like me. When a picture is taking of me it should look exactly how I look if looking in the mirror or an object where I can see my self.
