i dont know why some people are dissing kanye west, that guy is a good producer that brings diversity to rap, id like to see you lot do better he can even rap better than some rappers outthere.

anyway, i think rap might regain its lost quality, there are groups out there with talent and might break through one day. maybe not now but one day.
besides just because an artist is underground does not mean his stuff is the best, because iv heard some underground artists that deserve to be slapped, thier song was jsut pure nonsense, sometimes when you try to be to eperimental you shot your self in the foot look at commons last album electric circus, that was a bowl of piss.
even though as already said hiphop productions sound better than 15 year ago, if you listen to albums like midnight marrauders and the low end thoery youll see that some artist where way ahead of thier time during that era, tribe called quest are one of the best groups of all time and artist bite alotta thier shit too and still do . apart from quest no other early 90s group did it for me apart from wu,
and i agree with what khalil said late 90s was my fave era in rap even rnb . biggie pac and the rest ripped it up and mase too was one of my fav of all time untill he released this crap last year. he still has a chance to do good shit, if you wana listen to good stuff atleast mainstream then common and kanye them ,are putting out good shit production wise even the neptunes and timberland too prodcution wise go download thier new shit. things might not go back to the way it was besides what we many missed where gropus like public enemy, apart from that all rap has been the same to me. you just gotta go with the times and there are still a few good artist outthere. and i aint talking bout 50cent ,eminem and the rest of those muppets.
