The first time I got on a message board depending on who's board it was), it was business as usual far as looking at various websites. When I came on BLACKNET , I came on it by accident. Initally I wasn't sure about, but it was different because unlike most websites that dealt with Black people, this one came from England and eventually , the black diaspora. I found it ti be rather interesting because some people told about themsleves, their countries and how things were in their homelands. I don't do chatrooms, but I was looking at their message boards. Intially I was skeptical on writing there because it was coming from England and I wasn't sure that it meant paying some fee or something to write on there, but I was assured that it was no problem and the rest is history.
