Any secret societies have to deal with one problem that we all have.

TECHNOLOGY

In 1993 did the Illuminati know that the World Wide Web was coming? Did they know what impact Netscape would have? Bill Gates didn't. IBM failed to predict the success of the PC. Do you think the Illuminati knew PCs would take off?

I don't doubt that there are cooperatives of rich powerful people trying to manipulate the world to serve their purposes, but there are factors outside of their control. One of those factors is the information we choose to share over the internet.

RELEVANT knowledge is power.

We all have the power to spread info all over the world now. How can secret societies cope with that?

Start terrorism and a panic reaction to terrorism, justifying fascist authoritarian reactions? Hhmmmm
