You're wrong it does. Visit your local mental institution and ask the people in them. Most of them deny it too. It doesn't happen to EVERYONE, but it is the MAIN cause of mental illness in people under 34. Not to mention that I think alot of this so-called black on black crime wouldn't happen at all if the folks weren't high on the stuff in the first place. Paranoia and guns are not the best combination in my opinion. 80% of prisoners suffer from at least one mental illness as well.

Saying that, I do accept that those people prone to mental illness could bring it on sooner by smoking. I believe the people who smoke and get mentally ill from it would have probably gone sooner or later anyway, maybesome stressful life experience would bring on madness even if they never smoked a spliff in their life.

1 in 3 people develop a mental illness at some stageof their life. Most are prone to it. Just walk around your city centre and look around. Alot of people don't look all there. Also the majority of people don't smoke it, so that being prone to mental illness excuse is bad science. Not enough data. However there's more than enough data to suggest that smoking pot does cause various mental illnesses. And that's just in the short term. 20 years down the line those that you thought were ok! smoking the stuff might develop problems thems. The body is a system and dope does build up in the long term, don't be too surprised when that system starts developing faults due to improper abuse. Kind of like how excess booziing destroys the liver.

Drugs are drugs like you say... and some drugs are more harmful than others, some are legal and others illegal but drugs are drugs... so I guess you've never taken a paracetemol, never drank alcohol, would never let a doctor administer morphine if you were in extreme pain and you see pharmacists (Boots, Lloyds etc) as the same type of scum as the man who smokes weed and sells some of that weed to his mates who also smoke????
