Auset: can i first apologise for not responsing to your PM on the same subject, I've been rather buzy lately..however can i say this..

Whilst I understand your point of view I really don't agree for a number of reasons..

1. The raise in offending behaviour imo is not primarily to do with our skin colour, it has everything to do with the current economic climate...

2. If you watch the Murder blues series objectively, (baring in mind I've not watched episode two yet), The vast majority of these crimes a GANG, drug money related FIRST..the colour bit is secondary..

hench one of my objections to the term black on black, my second objection is that in effect Gun crime becomes synonimous with BLACK culture and far worse it is Ghettoised as a BLACK problem... Clearly I know from experience that is simply NOT true or factual.. I recall the massive gun battle a couple of years back on green lanes..which involved Kurds and Turkish mafia slugging it out.. I personally witnessed a what looked like a kurd, step out of the shadows at Turnpike lane and EMPTY yes empty his gun at point blank range into a couple in a car..before running off..

But my biggest concern is that Crime committed within the BLACK community is not given proper respect in comparison to crimes committed against white people... Example..it is only THI year that Charles Clarke has sucumb to considering the total ban of imitation arms and hand guns.. But how long have we said that should have happened..I know I've commented on this for at least four years.. why the delay.. when hungerford and dunblaine happened..legislation occured almost immediately.. over a 100 of our children get killed response zil!!! why the difference eh?

Toni Ann byfied is SHOT in the BACK by some scum... was she shot because she was BLACK or because she was in the WRONG place at the WRONG time.. but more importantly were is her killer, why hasn't he/she been caught.. could you imagine that being a WHITE child and no one being brought to book for THAT murder..come on..this for me is the biggest problem with labelling CRIME black on Black ...it gets swept under the carpet..we derserve better...
