To me in my opinion this lady is not feeling too good or right about her position as "the first black female judge in Britian". She must feel invisible like so many of our "first" in her position and she is stepping out this current tramatic experience to gain attention on another real life tramatic experience in her life. This time she will not be the "first" with this past tale experience. She is with a long list of "similar" problems that continue to manifest through each generation in our community. An 'invisible' sizable audience to profit monetarily off. What is new I would say is a judge is writing a book on her "past" problems and not addressing the "current" problems with being the "first" and her family. Overall, she is doing what she knows best with the situation dealt to her.
