My skin is definitely a combination of normal/dry skin. From my face - waist the skin is relatively normal but to my legs they get extremely dry (unless I'm in a hot climate) so I find I can't get an "all-in-one" moisturiser at least from my shoulders down. I always have to buy 3 different moisturisers for my face downwards!
I'm currently flitting betweenNubian Heritage and Lush products, This evening I used Nubian Heritageolive soap inshower. I tried their black soap but just couldn't merge with it. I'm thinking to try the mango soap. However, I find Lush soaps seem to work better on my skin eg. Karma soap works really well for me and their "Sympathy for Skin" or "Dream Cream" moisturisers work well for my body. However, I still would have to addmaybe a teaspoon of almond oil for my legs and I seem to get theskin smoothness that I want and their bath/shower products really assist with keeping myskin soft.
However, I was trawling a website today called "TreasuredLocks and it's sister website "Huminature" looking fora hair product called Naturalaxer that I'm considering using and was very interested in the write up about shea butter. For ages a friend of mine has been heralding it's properties so I'm sorely tempted to try it.I wouldn't use it on my face as I have been told that it may be better to use it as an addedingredient within a facial lotion. I'm sure I used some shea butter on my face years ago and as some of the posters here said, it made no difference to my complexion, I'm sure it made it dry. In saying that the write up explained about 100% raw and refined shea butter so it was all good in terms of education. Their body scrubs look tempting as well so I'll check my local store to see if they stock it, I've only seen the soaps. I first came across Nubian soaps in Finsbury Park store, Paks, just happened to be in the area and had a friend from overseas who wanted to get some products to take home so we kind of went crazy and bought a whole bunch of stuff. However, Nubian Jack in my area stock the soaps so that's cool.
Ladies, have any of you heard of Naturalaxer and if so have u had a try?
