I definitely like that she's been exposed to pan-Africanism (or some form of it) but what I'm worried about is the little girl becoming just a marionette of her father's teachings. As we all know, children tend to adopt the ideologies of their parents as a default because they cannot create complex ideas of their own or becasue they hold their parent to such a high esteem. Is it right for this girl to be force-fed what some would label as "extremist proproganda" and not have a choice in her political views and if the answer is yes, then is it right for this girl to be persecuted by her academic society solely for listening to her father? Basically, I think she's a bit to young to be presenting poetry like that.

As opposed to learning from......? About......? confused3

LOL @ "Force fed" Why the emotive term for what she learned at home? Would it be "force fed" for her to learn the other version at school or is that mere learning? Why the choice of words?

Yeah she is youngand has a few things muddled up but the general gist is there and at least she knows the score. I'm happier with her being "force fed" that sort of history as opposed to "learning" like I did about the wonderful Europeans and how lovely they were to us.
