203 views – 7 replies, does this mean that everyone else agrees with me?

Watch out – I’ll take silence as a yes, please keep it polite.

Some time ago, I took a brief look at great Zimbabwe – it was dated at 1400 A.D. If you know something better, don’t keep it to yourself.

A general thought: rejecting the proclivities and behaviors of some Black people, is not rejecting Black. As an example, have you ever seen some of the AA in the do-rags With pants at the bottom of their butts and underwear at the top. The only thing that it Reminds me of, is a cartoon character.

Children of course often do silly things, but here, there is also a parent that also thinks it looks great, they carry this on through young manhood. Instead of trying to figure it out, I simply reject them and it. (The low pants is emulating a prisoner – they are not allowed belts) it’s all just too sick for me.

The other night I was watching a program on the activities of some of the rubber barons in Brazil during the late 1800s. The program centered on one Spanish baron, his henchman and the Indian tribe they enslaved – I think they were called the Bora, this is deep in the Peruvian part of the Amazon. What the Spaniards would do, is take the woman and children hostage then take the men deep into the forest to collect rubber.

While in the forest, the henchman would often use the men for sport, using them as moving targets while practicing his marksmanship, cutting off arms, legs, penises, etc. if they angered him, so forth and so on.

In this case, it was finally ended a few decades later, when the young American explorer who witnessed it and wrote a book about it, appealed to the British backers of the company. The backers, wanting nothing to do with slavery, soon forced the Spaniard to liquidate the company.

After getting past the initial thought of “how could people do that to other people these men were monsters, of course they were! But after a time, another thought occurred to me – “what kind of people would allow that to be done to them This was all happening on their turf – deep in the jungle, there were many more of them, than there were guards.

Now I think that most of us – I hope, could think of many scenarios whereby we would ambush or overwhelm the guards, have our fun with them, then go and have some fun with the guards holding the women and children. Understanding that certainly there would be casualties on our side, but feeling that it would be well worth it.

So what makes these people different, what mindset allowed them to tolerate such treatment? And what does it say about their basic human worth. Are some people predisposed, for one reason or another, to be victims, and if so, are they of the same value as those who refuse to be victimized.
