Personally I think anything and everything is possible within the universe, what is possible in the empty space is possible here.

Why would you think that?

Because you can't get to the empty space or prove that it even exists. Herein lies the world of theories, theories are just ideas.....nothing more, just like mine.

I guess my issue is this. What do we know about the space outside of the universe? We aren't even sure that space isn't curved. It may be quite possible that there are no edges to the universe at all. But in the case that the universe is advancing into empty space and the model for our universe is a "flat model" (meaning that there are edges), doesn't that mean that even the rules that govern the universe advance with it's progression?
Do you see what I am saying?

In order to have the type of universe that we have, given that flat model, the rules that govern it could not already be present in the space it advances into.

If there was a Big Bang, not only did the universe explode. So did time and all the rules that govern space. That means rules like the universal speed limit, gravity, force, the uncertainty principle, etc., etc.

What is being understood now, is that these rules are a function of the dimension or the "space" in which we exist. These are "properties" of the supposed vaccuum space we exist in. And the space outside of the universe must have different properties than the supposed vaccuum space that is within it.

The space outside of the universe must have different rules and different properties. It has to be possible for things not to age, go faster than the speed of light, or etc.

I here what you're saying.

The world's full of them..... and you know it!
