I watched that film for the first time on Channel 4 about two months ago and much to my eternal regret I didn't record it. Brilliant and thought provoking stuff.
I could see why the powers that be were threatened by it and did everything in their power to limit its distribution. They have no problem with films that show us blowing each other's brains out for nothing, but one of the few positive African films that show our people sticking together, doing for self and fighting the establishment right to the top was enough to get the crakkkas scared in case it woke some of us up. From what I know it only lasted one weekend in cinemas when it was released.
