Would there be anyone that could tell me if i can change my british citizenship from a 'naturalised' citizen to just a regular citizen.

background-i came here over 30 years ago. Due to changes brought about by Thatcher I was only able to be a naturalised citizen. For anyone familiar with this , it puts limits on your citizenship ie you cannot leave the UK for more than a year or you loose that right to be here. Also you can not travel abroad more than a set number of times in any one year...again one would lose the right to stay her. Like many peopl i have been thinking of living abroad but don't want to lose the right to return to the UK if i want. As I have been here for so long..can i change the conditions on my citizenship. My brothers and sister who came just a couple of years before me have condition free citizenships but because of the date i arrived that is the reason I have different type of citizenship. Anyone in here familiar with immigration law?confused2
