thankyou for the articles, it was a very goiod read, however ido havesome questions in which i am having a difficult time finding the answer to....
At which point in history did the enslavement of black africans become the standard norm within the Arab World and much of the near east?
Iknow that occording to several Islamic sources, Bilal was the first convert and a freed African slave. This was around 610-620 a.d. Even after the revelation of the Quran for Muslims...slaveryspand theUmayad, Abbasid, and the Ottoman Empire....black slavery has existed in Arabia for well over amillennium...in fact slavery was not officially banned in Saudi Arabia until the 1960s...
When did this white superiority complex begin to emerge within the Arab World? When did this form of selective breeding begin to take place?
Just like in India, you had a mixed race group of people practice a form of selective breeding for over a 1000 years....favoring the white skin and light eyed......many arabs to this day have a very very curly/kinky hair ( a sign of African genetics) and pale white skin. Why? and When this begin to occur? Ask any arab from Najd tribe...of Riyadh and many will tell you that Arabs are naturally white skinned and favour their European counterparts. (I think the same thing could be said about North Africa especially and the Levant)
White skin and European chracteristicsare favouredheavily by theArab. Why thenso many Black African women have a been raped, mutilated and enslaved by Arab masters? Even to this day, Black African women come to Saudi Arabia and Yemen as immigrants looking for workand many times get kidnapped and sold into slavery and prostitution. Prostitution in Saudi seems toprimarily consist of AFRICAN women. Its a huge human rights issue right now and it is my hope that more of this will come into light...
