I couldn’t help but notice that none of you attempted to debunk Mr. Bakers assertions point-by-point. Could it be that you can’t? Of course that’s not to say that what he has written is true: It’s not, the fact is, it’s a pack of racist lies, but you wouldn’t know that.
And therein lies the rub: Has it ever occurred to you that all that you know about the world; past and present, and even all that you know about yourself; was taught to you by White people? Certainly I’m not accusing your kindly old White school teacher; but she was only teaching you what she herself was taught: Ever wonder who taught her?
Those that guessed, people like Mr. Baker, guessed right. I was amused by Sundiata’s amazement that an academic would write such racist trash; I guess she swallowed that stuff about the virtuous researcher and academic, interested only in the discovery and dissemination of truth: hook line and sinker. I fear for her; should she ever learn the truth.
The fact is; that history is quite different than what they have taught you: I will not pursue this line any further because I don’t wish to disturb anyone’s bliss. However, to those that wondered: why this, why now? The answer is very simple: The INTERNET.
Though the numbers are small; all over the world; Blacks are using the Internet to access museum and private collections, and they are finding Blacks in places where they weren’t suppose to be; some read the Realhistoryww website (which is a collection of these images and ancient history). They are also reading academic material done by less racist researchers, and then plugging in these newfound Black images. They are also paying attention to genetic studies; like the national Geographic, Genographic project; and lo and behold what do they find: A world history quite different from that which they have been taught.
Mr. Bakers book is an attempt to head that off; if history is any indication, he will be successful. Of course these comments are exclusive of Sub-Sahara Africa; though it is the birthplace of Man: What happened there, or rather, why nothing of consequence happened there: I have no clue.
