If you don't want it buy and prohibit it. If the muslims want to buil a giant lion statue or craphouse etc, then they can do that as well. In addition whetheryou like it or not, Britain is a white Chistian country and they are in the majority. It would be ridiculous for the UK to have a mega-Mosque especially as you know that no majority non-white Muslim country would ever build a mega-Church. I bet half the people here who are supporting it would feel uneasy if it was announced that theAmerica's largestmega-Mosque was going to built in Jamaica or Barbados. I honestly can't see the point in it, if someone can explain why it should bebuilt other than'we should agree with it because theBNP disagree with it' I want to hear it.

Actually I know a number of majority muslim countries where one could build a mega church in. And we should not judge UK by the standards of say SAudi Arabia, since once is a democracy (wiht all that follows) and the other is dictatorship. Nuff said
