Last African and all others....

Glad that my ethnic background and migratory history gets brought up whenever somebody has nothing else to say......

I've said before....and am proud of history of my direct ancestors in Haiti, the cousins of my ancestors who depending on which ship we were loaded on...ended up in different partsof the diaspora...and of the original cultures and socieities in West Africa...where my people are from.


I embrace the highs and lows, achievements and failures of Black people worldwide....and having been raised in Haitian household and grown up in America...(and having read and studied history and culture of Haiti and Black America)....I can speak with confidence abouts topics relating to both. not that I am an expert on either, or that everything I say is infallible, but my opinions and views are informed by direct life experience AND study. I've proven this time and time again...

Last African...you can disagree with me or with girlfromnc...or with anybody else...and you don't have to be from the part of the world that is being discussed, but you'd better have your facts right, so that your opinions are informed. Otherwise people will challenge your knowledge of the subject being discussed(which I did)..and you'll be unable to give an acceptable answer(which you haven't).
