Good point: many people talk about mis diagnosis as a reason for the high numbers in mental wards, but in actual fact its the lack of opportunities and unresolved inequalities like this that also contributes to the numbers... This is a classic example how everyone in the system covertly and overtly colludes to make to switch the blame from the aggressor onto the victim.
The victim then ends up questioning everything and everyone to point of paranoia
