for starters: at what point did eqypt become the focus and mesopotamia seemed to has lost the attention to eqypt?
You picked a very interesting and tragic time to ask about: this time is actually the beginning of the end of Black rule all over the world. I’m not a religious person, but you kind of have to do a double take and wonder how so much could have happened in such a short time – relatively speaking.
But back to your question: Egypt never took the focus away from Mesopotamia, the focus was taken from both of them by the last great Black civilization – The Persians. Looking back at it, to me, it also seems like the beginnings of a Black stupidity that continues to today – though it began with the noblest of intensions.
The beginning of the end started with the kingship of one of the greatest and noblest men of all time – Cyrus the Great. But unfortunately Cyrus was a two-edged sword. Cyrus was a devout Zoroastrian (the Hebrew religion and thus Christianity, take much of it’s character from Zoroastrianism). In Cyrus’s mind, the only way to save the world from it’s current turmoil, was to conquer it and show them a better way. And that’s what the Persians set about doing, first they conquered Mesopotamia, and one of the first things that he did was to free the Hebrews from their Babylonian exile – and paid for their return home. Then later, his son Darius (Darius the Great) conquered Egypt, (the Egyptians had been weakened by years of warring with the Assyrians and were then in a period of disunity). This began about 550 B.C.
About 700 years earlier Whites had begun to migrate into Europe, before long they had succeeded in forcing a large part of the original Black populations of Italy (the Etruscans), Greece (the Minoans), the Cretans and others of the Mediterranean Islands to flee: this was called the exodus of the “Sea People” (among these people were the Biblical Philistines – they settled in southern Canaan. (The people known to us as the Gaul’s of France would last until Roman times).
Now back to the Persians; they were actually two groups; the Medes or (Mada) and the Persians (Parsua). There is a lot of argument as to who they were originally: the land that they took over (modern Iran, was one of the original great civilizations, it was called Elam). Some say that they were Dravidians from the Indus Valley fleeing the advancing Arians, my own belief is that they were the old Gutians and Kassites, who centuries earlier had conquered Sumer, and were later expelled – same people, just known by a different name.
But whoever they were, they just didn’t have the thousands of years experience in governing and world affairs that the Egyptians and Mesopotamians had. So in time, they started to fall apart. The beginning of the end for them started when they tried to conquer all of Greece, they already had a part of it. They were defeated by the Macedonians, who later followed that up by attacking them at home, under the command of Alexander the Great.
The oddity here is that Alexander first went to Egypt. The Egyptians welcomed him; such was their distain for the Persians (remember what I said about Black stupidity). But in fairness it should be pointed out that by now the Egyptians had a history with the White Greeks, they had served in the Egyptian army, and had made it their business to kiss as much Egyptian ass as possible, therefore the Egyptians looked upon them as friends.
Alexander then marched to Persia, where the royal family had been falling apart for many years, and conquered it. With the fall of Persia came all that Persia ruled, which was everybody from India to Anatolia (Turkey) to Egypt. And that was just about the end of Black rule in the world. Remember what I said about the Whole World, here’s what I mean: a few hundred years earlier the Mongol Zhou had driven the Black Shang from China, now a group of them called the Yayoi invade Japan and drive out the black Jomon. In the Americas, the Black Olmec give way, by force or otherwise, to the Maya.
The only ascending Black people at this time; are the Mon of Thailand, the Khmer of Cambodia, and the Champa of Vietnam. But they don’t last but for a few hundred years. The Persians make a comeback about 200 A.D. under Ardashir I, of the Sassanian dynasty. They kick some Roman ass for a while, but then, they too start to fall apart. The end for them comes with the Arab invasion (Turks really – Arab is a misnomer). And that for sure marks the end of Black rule in the civilized world.
Yes I do know about the Moors in Spain, but it wasn’t that big. If you are wondering when racial discrimination began – I have no real clue. But I think that there was a racial element to the Latin’s and Greeks ganging up, to drive the Etruscans from Latium (Italy) in 475 B.C. And you have to wonder how it happened that all the White groups moved up, and all the Black civilizations were destroyed. But for sure, it didn’t get out and out Black and White nasty, until the Atlantic slave trade. And I think what happened there was that they needed cover for all the terrible things that they were doing, so they decided to de-humanize the people that they were doing it to, namely Blacks and Mesoamerican and South American Indians, who BTW suffered MUCH more than Blacks – the case can be made that North American Blacks had the easiest time of all.
