I know what you mean, when I hear my brothers moan about rude women etc... I can't relate because I'm not a rude person. If someone says you look nice, a smile and a thank you is just manners imo. Problem is some men take it as a sign of more and so women don't respond then get classed as miserable, it's a cycle.
