Just an opinion

I dont know how Hillary a big shot lawyer from Chicago can 'just follow her heart' to marry a 'hillbilly' from Arkansas.

She must have had one big 'tender' heart.

The First Ladies of the United States - Hillary Rodham Clinton

Usually marriages of northern girls of branded family name marrying southern boy scouts is very odd and irregular, I am thinking Hillary knew she could only do so little if she went back to Chicago. If she did she would have to do what Obama did including running in African American districts of Chicago which her family probably disapproved of.

Oprah must have took the spot she was eagerly seeking before and that establishment prompted her to perhaps support Obama since she states she is not 'political'.
I'm not sure that I get what the implication is. Bill was hardly a hillbilly, he was a fellow Yale student and a Rhodes Scholar, to boot, not to mention brimming over with what is now legendary charisma, I don't think her being attracted to and marrying him was strange at all. She could sense his potential and that he could likely go places(in ways that he didn't even all ways sense), that's not unusual, either. Most women can perceive that in or the lacktherof, in a man they are dealing with, that's what we do,lol.

I'm not sure I get the Oprah,Chicago establishment thing, either. Oprah supercedes local Chicago establishment considerations, she owns the place she films in and could film elsewhere with not problem if some drama jumped off in Chicago. She can support whomever she chooses, or she can choose to support no one, as she has in the past. Jesse Jackson and his fam have way deeper Chicago roots than Oprah, and Jesse is the godfather of Obama's children, yet HIS family has some folks that are supporting Clinton and not Obama, so why would Oprah feel like she had to support Obama? If I'm taking the trajectory of your response correctly, that is. If not, disregard, lol.
