LOL don't worry about it dude, do your thing. I used to get that too and I've had both 'black' as well as white people get angry and upset (literally) when they knew that about me - and some of them have outrightly accused me of 'racism'. It happened to my brother and I relayed a funny story on here once about what happened when some white girl fancied him like mad but ended up looking a dyam fool when he didn't give her the time of day and even looked at her with her disgust.

When you're an African male and your sole desire is African women, a LOT of people won't like it and can't even bear the mere thought of any young African man who wouldn't look at a european twice. It happens.

Do you really want to remain friends with the people you mentioned anyway? Personally, I can't stand being around people with that mentality and avoid them like the plague.
