We got lettuce and tomatoes but no enough room for the lettuce so Tomatoes have been in abundance for the past 3 months also. I reckon we'll be alright for a decent while more because even though the plant is indoors, fresh branches are still coming up!
We used the growing process for the children science home study, so they can learn about self sufficiency in the process.They are even prouder to eat what they planted and helped to water until the benefits came. You know what's even better is how economical it is. I must have spent about £2.40 on the seeds and a little soil to start with and there are still seeds left for next summer.
We intend to grow more when we get a garden so just planting the seeds for now LOL.
